| There's been a lot of people saying we should have an off-topic section here. I'm kind of against the idea because I want to keep this as focused as possible and avoid the whole deal where people just come for the random discussions, but what do you guys think? | |

| There probably won't be a difference in the amount of on-topic posting that happens if/when we create our off-topic section.
And we can't be all business here. Gotta let us unwind occasionally, man. What happens if we start this thing and all of a sudden a lot of people like it? Do we open the forum to them? What if they don't want to participate in on-topic discussion all the time? Questions and statements like that point to setting up a "shenanigans" section.
Also, if you can't keep people from getting off-topic, instead of going against the flow, the best course of action is to give them a place to channel all that excess energy. | |

| Well, I'd assumed that if we opened the forum to other people, we'd have to make a non-player section anyway.
And people not being on topic hasn't really been a problem here at all except for in a particular case. | |
