Yes, the guy I know IS very knowledgable.

He helped me think of the better story for my ancestor, and fix some things about my character as well.

We've actually experienced this firsthand. He got on the irc and said his piece. Nicekat, MGL, Volksie and I like him. Zael is, well, opposed to having him over Laurie, but that was obviously going to happen.

But it doesn't matter if we like him!!!

I really hope we let him in. I want Laurie in too, but I'd rather have it gender balanced.
Maybe we should have a vote... or something? Get as many people as possible on the IRC one day with Alec and Laurie, or... that third person.

I suppose we could do it that way. Might want to make arrangements ahead of time so that we can have as many relevant people available as possible.

What about the orange blood? Pantherist? She's never on :/

We should have more active members, and honestly I'd take laurie over someone I barely know.

Shes on. I am in constant contact with her. Shes done plenty to work on her character. The IRC isn't the only form of communication you have with her. You did join our skype group so you should have her skype contact.

Volks is right, she's been somewhat active recently, and certainly active in the past.

EP is active enough to stay on. Our current options are Crpdude, Laurie, and maybe Athon if we can talk to him (I only have his pesterchum and he hasn't been on in ages). If we can't get in contact with him, I'm in favor of Crpdude. We get a better gender and blood color balance with him.

I like both Crpdude and Laurie, honestly.

I like both crpdude and Laurie as well. I'm only leaning towards crpdude because he provides a better balance to both gender ratio and hemospectrum. The fact that he already has everything figured out and ready to go (minus interactions, but that'll come as we get to know him) doesn't hurt either.

Honestly, though, if we could get him (or Laurie or whoever) to go yellowblood, that would be ideal.

From what I know, crpdude has a limeblood troll, which fits in nicely where Mari's yellowblooded troll was, so... But yes, Laurie or crpdude. I'm game.

I believe I can get in contact with Athon over steam and see if he can get us some info.

I'm liking the idea that seems to be forming on picking which one gets in based on the character they create for us. I just can't really think of another way that's at all fair.

Mmmm. I guess we can't just say Laurie has dibs because she's been expressing interest a lot longer? I dunno. I guess we really will need to try to pick purely on character.

Once again, I have to agree with Volks, here. Just because someone has been wanting to join longer doesn't make their bid anymore valid than that of people who hadn't been around quite as long. While first come first served made some sense before we decided we needed a limit, it doesn't when three people are competing for one spot.

And I agree with both of you. I really said it wrong, eesh.

So if I have this right, we'll basically have to wait on Laurie and Athon to create their characters and see whose is the best for our session, yes? If that is the case, it is probably best to keep the two of them in the dark about crpdude's character, as well as each others'. That keeps anyone from getting an unfair advantage by going second or third, with the knowledge of what they have to be better than.

Should we give them the outline of information we all filled in for our trolls? To give a fair standard for what we're expecting/looking for?
